Louie is designed by Sami Kallio. An awarded furniture designed with roots from Finland that today is based with his own studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The joints in wood and the visible screws gives the chair its’ character. Balanced with simple and timeless straight lines that are combined with the soft shapes of the seat and back. By working with quality material and the right kind of connections, Louie is a chair that will stand the test of time both in terms of design and quality.
Louie is developed and designed with people and planet in mind. That’s why it is sent in flat-pack, minimizing the space during transport and by that, we can minimize its carbon footprint in the logistic chain. All parts are easy to replace if any part is damaged or worn out by time. As with all our furniture, Louie is made out of FSC-certified wood, that guarantees wood from sustainable forestry.
