Aiko is developed and designed to be easily adapted and tailored to each home's unique needs and circumstances. The shelf comes in two basic designs, ash and oak. All parts are replaceable and can be easily replaced if any part is damaged or worn out over the years, which applies to all our furniture. Aiko consists only of FSC-certified wood, which guarantees sustainable forestry.
By using the right material in the right place, Aiko is designed for circular use and a long life. The thin vertical parts consist of veneered mdf which is dimensionally stable even if the humidity level in the surrounding environment varies. The horizontal board, which is subjected to the greatest load, is extra strong so as not to bend over time and has a core of Swedish spruce plywood. The shelf is treated with light white-stained lacquer that creates a restful, low-saturated shade that also protects well against moisture and stains.
With the unique click system, neither tools nor hours are required to assemble Aiko. In the same way, you can just as easily dismantle or replace parts if necessary.
